Benefits of Chamomile German Oil


Chamomile German Oil is also known by other names Hungarian Camonile, Blue Camomile and Single Camomile. Its botanical name is Matricaria chamomilla. Chamomile German Oil is excellent for skin complications. It calms and soothes the nervous system and assists in healing and regenerating tissue.
This oil is sweet, dark blue in colour with medium viscosity. It has a straw-like fragrance. It is mostly cultivated in Egypt, Eastern Europe, France and Eastern Europe. This plant grows to a height of 60 cm. in height. It has daisy like flowers on single stems and the leaves are delicate and feathery.

This oil is extracted from the flowers through the process of steam distillation. It contains a component called azulene which is an anti-inflammatory agent. Small dosages of this chamomile oil are sufficient to treat several disorders. It must be noted here that essential oils are commonly used in small, minuscule doses.
Chemical components present in this oil are a-bisabolol, bisabolol oxide A, bisabolol oxide B, chamazulene and bisabolone oxide A.
